Protect your Investment

Source escrow is an integral part of our client's risk-management and auditing process. In the case that our software does not work or stochastix goes out of business, a copy of the source code will be available through a trusted third party.

Our Software Escrow account is managed by Lincoln-Parry Associates, Inc. Lincoln-Parry has over 30 years of experience in the field, and manages thousands of escrow accounts for companies such as our own. Through Lincoln-Parry we offer two different escrow packages in combination with an annual support agreement:

Basic Escrow

Basic Escrow guarantees access to the source code of stochastix solutions in the case of insolvency. Upon receipt of payment, stochastix will issue an 'inclusion' certificate to both the client and the escrow agent. Clients with a software subscription or a separate software maintenance and support agreement can purchase Basic Escrow at the price of 595,00 Euro (708,05 Euro inkl. 19% USt.) per product, per year.

Escrow Plus

Escrow Plus is the same as Basic Escrow with the addition of defect correction protection. If stochastix cannot or will not rectify an issue reported by a client within the specified resolution goals, the client can obtain the source code to correct the problem. stochastix also provides a Virtual PC image to guarantee the immediate availability of a pre-configured, consistent build environment. Escrow Plus is available as an add-on service to Basic Escrow only. The price is 2.995,00 Euro (3.564,05 Euro inkl. 19% USt.) per product, per year.

Encrypted Source Code

In order to provide an extra layer of assurance, stochastix publishes encrypted source code with every maintenance release, with the decryption key also being deposited at the escrow agent. In case of a release event, the client will be able to receover source code for exactly the same version that is currently in use.
